Muse cancel European shows after front man breaks foot

  • Rock band Muse have canceled three European tour dates after front man Matt Bellamy broke two bones in his right foot.

Concerts in Oslo, Stockholm and Malmo have been affected.

The tour is expected to resume on December 10 in Helsinki, Finland.

"Muse would like to apologize to all their fans who have tickets to these shows. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase," a statement on their website said.

"Matt's progress will be monitored over the next few days, but the remaining dates on the tour are still scheduled to go ahead as planned. As soon as we have any news it will be posted on the Muse website, Facebook and Twitter accounts."

Muse’s latest album, The 2nd Law, has topped the charts in more than 20 countries following its release in October.
