Movie critic got annoyed and called 911

  • A movie blogger didn't like the idea of cellphones being used during a Toronto International Film Festival screening so he reported the offense to 911.

FirstShowing.net blogger Alex Billington became extremely annoyed during the midnight screening since people were constantly texting and emailing during the screening that was meant for members of the press and film industry. He first complained to theatre managers and then called 911.

Billington said the police laughed at the complaint so he took to Twitter in order to vent his anger. He claimed that the horror film "The Sacrament", was being pirated and that measures were required to restore order in the theatre.

"I'm just trying to fight the good fight," the blogger wrote. "Even if others don't agree with my methods."
