Louisiana may keep 'Duck Dynasty' on the air

  • Louisiana may be able to rescue 'Duck Dynasty': Lieutenant Governor Jay Dardenne has offered his influence to the cast of the show in seeking out "alternative production options."

Reports suggest that Dardenne doesn't approve of Phil Robertson's harsh anti-gay remarks but considers the show to be "an important representation of the state," which also results in boosting tourism.

Dardenne has always encouraged the production of films and TV shows in the region and has helped the state make it to one of the most productive ones after California and New York.

Meanwhile, Cracker Barrel put back the 'Duck Dynasty' products that it had removed after getting angry responses from customers and fans. "We listened," the company said.
