Jackson doctor freed from jail
October 29 , 2013
The doctor held responsible for Michael Jackson's death has been freed after serving two years of prison sentence at the Los Angeles County jail.
Conrad Murray was supposed to spend four years in jail but served only two since he was given a day of credit for each day served.
Prosecutors accused him of using a powerful anesthetic in an obscene manner in order to put Jackson to sleep every night. Murray now wants to get back his medical license since his "entire approach" to helping Jackson "may not have been an orthodox approach" but he claims he didn't have any wrong intentions.
"He's very hopeful," Murray's lawyer said. "He's going to practice medicine somewhere is my understanding."
