Hollywood icon Lauren Bacall’s eclectic art collection is set to go under the hammer at New York’s Bonhams auction house.
The collection, said to be worth around $3 million, includes, jewelry, bronze sculptures and paintings.
Bacall, who died last year aged 89, became famous with her very first film ‘To Have And Have Not’ in the 1940s.
Bonhams vice-president Jon King said the collection was a reflection of the star’s “extraordinary taste and remarkable life”. Legendary British sculptor Henry Moore’s maquettes are part of the collection.
