Harper Lee to publish sequel to 'To Kill a Mockingbird'

  • An unpublished novel written by Harper Lee in the 1950s will soon hit the bookstores.

The novel 'Go Set a Watchman', which is described as “an extraordinary gift” to the fans of 'To Kill a Mockingbird', will be released on July 14. The novel follows the life of Scout Finch.

Lee, who has not published any book other than 'To Kill a Mockingbird', said that she was “humbled and amazed” at the publication of this book, which is set in a fictional town in the southern US of the 1950s and a sequel of sorts to her best-seller.
