Fashion designer John Galliano to make comeback

Disgraced fashion designer John Galliano is set to make his comeback with a temporary residency at Oscar de la Renta's studio in New York, Vogue magazine reported on Friday.
The British designer was dismissed by Dior in 2011 after he was caught on camera making anti-Semitic remarks in a Paris café.
He is reported to spend the next three weeks with de la Renta as he prepares for his upcoming New York Fashion Week show.

Galliano was fined $8,000 by a French court after being found guilty of anti-Semitic behavior. He said an addiction to drugs and drink had left him out of control.
Since then, Galliano, 52, has designed British model Kate Moss's wedding dress and was rumored to be as the new creative director of the re-launched fashion label Schiaparelli.
