Alec Baldwin apologizes for anti-gay comments
November 17 , 2013
Alec Baldwin has had an eventful week.
Only hours after his stalker was held in contempt of court and sentenced to prison, he was caught on video yelling at a paparazzi and using two gay slurs. As a result, MSNBC suspended his talk show on a temporary basis yesterday.
The star mentioned he said the word "fathead" instead of the worse alternative and "did not intend to hurt or offend anyone."
He said he is deeply sorry and understands that words are important. He wasn't aware of the fact that "c-sucking" is an anti-gay slur as well and GLADD had to inform him of the same.
