Actor Hugh Jackman is treated for skin cancer

  • Actor Hugh Jackman has again undergone treatment for skin cancer, according to media reports.

After he was pictured with a bandaged nose, his representatives confirmed that he had been treated for Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) — the third time the Wolverine star has sought treatment.

    The procedure reportedly went well.

BCC is the most common type of skin cancer, but is rarely fatal.

Jackman, 46, publicly revealed that he had been diagnosed with BCC nearly a year ago. He later said it was a “minor” cancer.
