Yahoo buys BrightRoll for $640m

Yahoo has bought BrightRoll, a digital video ad service, for $640 million. This would help Yahoo grow its video ad platform, the internet giant reportedly said.
BrightRoll’s net revenue this year is likely to cross $100 million, according to estimates.
The San Francisco start-up helps in the buying and selling of video advertisements on websites and devices.
Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer said BrightRoll would fit in very well with Yahoo’s own video ad model.
