Why was The Lego Movie a success?
February 20 , 2014
The Lego Movie received praise and positive reviews, which came as a surprise considering that the era is "politicized."
Noah Kristula-Green of the American Conservative noted that the widespread approval came from the fact that the movie is commercial for Legos.
The end of the film shows an 8-year-old boy in a disagreement with his father who wants to play according to strict rules. However, the boy wants to be more creative and wins. The film appeals to kids who want to play with toys and give their parents a reason for buying them.
"Because your child will have fun and you can bond and avoid estrangement!" Kristula-Green writes.
