US senate to confirm Yellen as head of federal reserve

Janet Yellen will be the first female to have ever been the head of the Federal Reserve and the United States senate is expected to confirm her position as Ben Bernanke's successor.
The inspiring lady brings an impressive résumé and has spent over one decade working in various positions at the Federal Reserve. She has suggested the bond-buying program as a way to reduce unemployment in the country, which appears to be her main concern.
These opinions are similar to the ones expressed by current Chairman Bernanke.
Bernanke spoke about his two terms in last week's speech and mentioned that his mission still remains unaccomplished.
