US: McDonald's to raise pay for 90,000 employees
April 2 , 2015
McDonald’s is raising the wages of over 90,000 of its American employees to at least a dollar more than the minimum required wage.
Currently, the legal minimum wage in the US is $7.25 per hour, though states can come up with their own rates.
This move by the fast-food giant will, however, only benefit employees working at outlets owned by the company, which are a small portion of the total number of McDonald’s restaurants in the US.
