Toyota recalls Pruises due to software issues
February 13 , 2014
Toyota recalled more vehicles because of a software glitch that could cause the newest-generation Prius hybrids to stall. The recall involved 1.9M cars and no accidents or injuries have yet been reported.
Toyota has recalled the maximum number of vehicles and the Times notes that the reason behind the same is that the company is trying to avoid issues related to lawsuits and fines by being more proactive.
Customers can look up their vehicle online to see if they need to send it back.
