Strong demand boosts Facebook share price range
May 16 , 2012
Facebook has raised the price range at which it hopes to sell its shares from $28-$35 to $34-$38 due to strong demand.
The increase potentially brings the eight-year-old company’s total value above $100 billion, making it worth more than Disney and Ford.
Trading in the shares is expected to begin on Friday.
The social network boasts 900 million users across the world and made a profit of $1 billion last year.
