Samsung to introduce TVs with touch and voice interaction

  • Samsung's 2014 Smart TV lineup includes a version featuring "finger gestures."

Integrated microphones within the company's Smart Touch Remotes will be able to respond to commands such as "What's On TV?." Samsung is also expanding the language and dialect recognition, which previously covered only 11 countries.

Samsung isn't the only company in this game. Xbox One by Microsoft also lets its users interact with the device using voice and motion. In fact, nearly every major television manufacturer, including LG and Panasonic, now has its own version of a similar technology.
