Rail Strikes Start on Northern rail, Southern rail and Merseyrail Across England

As per reports, up to 2,000 guards and drivers working for Northern rail, Southern rail and Merseyrail across England held 24-hour of strike over the plans for driver-only-operated trains.
Reports revealed that over half of the services on Northern rail and Merseyrail may get canceled, while Southern rail mentioned that 90% of its trains may run.
On some of the routes, rail-replacement services are operating.
Customers have been advised to check the latest timetables online before traveling.
Management of the three affected rail companies mentioned that they are looking for negotiated solution and said there will be no loss of job.
