Powerball winner claims his millions

  • The third and the last Powerball winner of New Jersey who won the $411M jackpot this month has been revealed. Mario Scarnici is supposed to receive about $86M before taxes and the grocery store that sold him his ticket has received a commission of $30,000 for selling the jackpot ticket.

The grocery store plans on donating the money, according to the officials.

16 other people from New Jersey and a man from Minnesota won the rest of the jackpot.

Lottery officials mentioned that the last time one state sold two Powerball winning tickets was back in 1993 in Washington, D.C.
