July 7 , 2014
Trade and business issues are expected to dominate Angela Merkel’s agenda during her three-day visit to China.
There is a large contingent of German business executives traveling with the German chancellor. This is her seventh visit to the Asian country since 2005.
Merkel will visit south-west China’s Sichuan province, a place where dozens of German firms are based. She will also hold talks with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.
