LinkedIn agrees to pay $6m in wages and damages

  • LinkedIn will be paying $6m in damages and wages after the company was found failing to account for its employees’ total working hours, as per media reports.

    According to the settlement, 359 current and former employees will receive $2.5m in damages and $3.3m in unpaid wages.

    Describing talent as its main priority, LinkedIn said it was eager to “rectify the situation.”

    An official of the US Labor Department praised the firm in showing “a great deal of integrity” in cooperating with investigators.
