Jobs in the US have worsened
April 30 , 2014
In the US, employment rates have gone back to what they used to be before the recession, but the newly created jobs aren't as good as the previous ones.
As per The New York Times, the National Employment Law Project revealed that nearly 1 million jobs that were lost have not yet been replaced but there has been a significant increase in low-paid ones.
"Fast food is driving the bulk of the job growth at the low end – the job gains there are absolutely phenomenal," the report's author said. "If this is the reality – if these jobs are here to stay and are going to be making up a considerable part of the economy – the question is, how do we make them better?"
