Jane Austen to be the new face on £10

The design of England's £10 notes has been updated by the Bank of England. Jane Austen has been chosen to replace the famous evolutionary Charles Darwin on the banknote by 2017.
Novelist Austen, who was known for her observations in the 19th century, has penned 'Pride and Prejudice' among many other novels and is considered to be one of the greatest writers in English Literature.
"[Incoming Bank of England governor] Mark Carney's choice of Jane Austen as face of £10 note is great. After understandable row over lack of women, shows sense and sensibility." Mr Osborne tweeted.
