Italy's MPS bank director found dead in Siena

  • The communications director of ailing Italian bank Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS) has died in an apparent suicide.

David Rossi's body was found on Thursday below an open window at the bank's headquarters in Siena.

Rossi was among several MPS employees whose homes and offices were raided by police last month. No charges were made against him.

MPS, the world's oldest surviving bank, is currently being investigated for fraud and corruption allegations.
