IMF unimpressed by third Greek bailout, reports say
July 31 , 2015
Reports indicate that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is unenthusiastic about contributing to a third Greek bailout, and is unlikely to provide funds initially.
The IMF may, however, come on board later if the Greek government and eurozone address its core concerns. IMF staff has serious doubts about the Greek government’s ability to make its debt sustainable under the current terms of the bailout deal, reports say.
Other European figures including a section of German MPs are also unhappy over the €86 billion bailout agreement.
