Greek debt crisis: Lawmakers to vote again on bailout reforms
July 22 , 2015
Greek lawmakers are voting on a second set of reforms required to secure the bailout agreement. If the parliament backs the judicial and financial reforms, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’s government will be able to go ahead with vital talks for the €86 billion bailout from lenders.
Though the vote is expected to pass thanks to support from the opposition, Tsipras is facing a rebellion within the ranks of his Syriza party, with more than 30 party members voting against the first set of bailout measures.
