Greece debt crisis: No further talks till referendum, say eurozone ministers
July 2 , 2015
The Finance Ministers of the Eurozone have ruled out further bailout talks with Greece till the Sunday referendum.
Greek voters have to choose between accepting or rejecting the lenders’ proposals that were made last week before Greece defaulted on its IMF loan and its bailout extension ended.
Alexis Tsipras, the Greek Prime Minister who came to power on an anti-austerity platform, has called upon people to vote “no”.
Meanwhile, Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis described the situation as a “very dark moment for Europe” and accused the creditors of blackmail.
