Chrysler recalls vehicles over brake defect
April 3 , 2014
As GM faces several problems, Chrysler is recalling some vehicles of its own. The move involves about 870k Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs over issues related to the vehicles' brakes.
The company mentioned that crimp joints in the brakes could cause trouble if exposed to water since the break boosters won't work properly if the water freezes.
Chrysler discovered the problem after a customer came forward to talk about his troublesome brakes and the company is aware of one accident related to the defect. Reports suggest that no injured have been reported and the company will notify customers of the recall.
