China sets 7% growth target for 2015

China has set a growth target of 7% for 2015, the government said on Thursday.
Premier Li Keqiang made the announcement at the beginning of the annual National People's Congress.
In 2014, China missed the growth target of 7.5%. The country registered the slowest growth in 24 years. In 2013, the Chinese economy expanded by 7.7%.
The consumer inflation target for 2015 is 3%, down from last year’s 3.5%, Li said.
