Business councils disbanded by Trump after CEOs quit as a mark of protest
August 17 , 2017
A couple of high-profile business advisory councils have been dissolved by Donald Trump after a number of chief executive officers (CEOs) quit in order to protest his remarks that blamed the anti-racism activists, as well as the white nationalists, for the recent incidents in Charlottesville. Trump has already been rebuked by a number of leaders – past and present – of the Republican Party itself for these comments. Some criticism has also come his way from the UK, an ally of the US, for the aforementioned comments.
