Americans to go to Mexico for dental services
May 7 , 2014
It appears that dental services in America are rough enough to force people to head to Cuidad Juarez in Mexico in order to get their teeth cared for. The city is known as one of the most dangerous ones in the world.
It's easy to understand why people make the journey since US prices for fillings and porcelain crowns, root canals and dental implants, are much higher as compared to the region.
The Atlantic notes that a high percentage of Americans don't have dental insurance and the newly insured ones under ObamaCare didn't care to get a dental plan. "I had some appraisals done in the States and then found out that they could do it here for about a third of the cost," a patient said.
