Protestor leader killed in Thailand
January 27 , 2014
An anti-government protest leader was killed when a voting station was blacked in Bangkok. Reports suggest that Suthin Thararin was killed in front of Sri Eiam Temple and nine others were injured in the shooting as well.
Protestors have been asking for Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to resign and want to replace her with an elected "people council."
The identity of the shooters hasn't been confirmed but the protestors encountered the supporters of the government, which led to verbal assaults between both sides.
