Hong Kong protesters clash with police
November 19 , 2014
Four men were arrested in Hong Kong following a clash between pro-democracy demonstrators, who tried to enter the city's legislature, and the police, media reports say.
Earlier, authorities had cleared a protest site in Admiralty, where several government offices are located.
Leaders of the protest movement have condemned the attempt to force into the key government building, calling upon demonstrators to remain peaceful. In a statement, one of the central organizations behind the protests said the day’s events “went against the concepts of civil disobedience.”
