LinkedIn disables affected accounts following breach

LinkedIn has announced it has disabled all affected accounts after hackers exposed the passwords of more than 6 million customers.
The company, a social network for business professionals, has vowed to improve security after customer passwords appeared on underground sites frequented by criminal hackers.
With more than 160 million members, LinkedIn is a key target for data thieves as it stores valuable information about professionals, including well-known business leaders.
