Ashley Madison founder Noel Biderman steps down

  • Noel Biderman, the chief executive and founder of Ashley Madison, has stepped down.

    According to a statement released by the infidelity dating website, his stepping down was in the firm’s “best interest”.

    The company’s senior management will take over the leadership till a new chief executive gets appointed, the statement said.

    Ashley Madison has been facing a crisis ever since a hack attack led to 33 million accounts being stolen.

    The company said it was working with authorities to bring the hackers “to justice”.
