 The city of Long Beach is located in Los Angeles County on the Pacific coast of Southern California. It is the second most populous city in the Greater Los Angeles Area. It is located 22 miles (35 km) south of downtown Los Angeles. The city is known for a large oil industry and as a manufacturing center.
