North America Cities Map

North America is the third largest continent on Earth, after Asia and Africa, with a total area of about 24,709,000 square kilometers (9,540,000 square miles).
North America is made up of twenty-three nations, from Canada in the north to Panama in the south.

The map of North American cities also shows the major cities of the countries of North America. Each country's capital is marked on the map, as well as some of the other large cities.

Canada's capital is Ottawa, and other major cities include Vancouver, Montreal, Winnipeg, and Calgary. The U.S. capital is Washington D.C., and other major cities include New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago. Moving farther south, Mexico's capital is Mexico City, and its major cities include Guadalajara, La Paz, and Chihuahua.

Also shown on the map of North American cities are the nations of the Caribbean and their capitals. The Bahamas are headquartered in Nassau, and Cuba's capital is in Havana.
