Top leaders of the industrial countries of the world are meeting at London to discuss and agree on how to confront the worst global financial crisis since the 1930s.
The meeting is expected to discuss the steps to strengthen the banking regulations so as to prevent the crisis in future.
They will also commit to extra efforts to boost economic growth, but it looks like there will be no specific targets on extra government spending.
There is tight security at the Excel Centre in London's Docklands where the summit is being held.
