Introduction:

The origin of snowfall is hidden in the clouds that at first form the snow crystals. The heat of the sun helps the water to evaporate. Thus water from various water bodies on the earth vaporizes and in the way up to the air, the vapor sometimes finds some dust particles and freezes on it. Thus, snowflakes are formed. Not only dust particles, but bacteria and other small particles of solid stuffs also play the same role. Snow is formed when the temperature of the clouds drop down to zero degree or below the freezing point. The snow crystals are formed around the small particles.

Snowfall is one of the most beautiful natural occurrences in the surface of earth. It is a wonderful weather phenomenon . There are several benefits of snowfall in the weather. Snowfall acts like a thermal insulator to the weather of a certain place. Snow preserves the heat from the surface of the earth and thus helps in the field of agriculture. A certain amount is needed for the protection of the crops from the subfreezing weather conditions.

•  The Negative aspects of snowfall:

There are some negative sides too regarding the snowfall on the earth. Heavy snowfall is something very problematic for various things. It interrupts many services like telephone services, electricity services, gas services, and so on. Even the places that are familiar with these kinds of natural phenomena, often suffer a great deal due to heavy snowfall. The transport systems suffer the most in such cases.
