Weather Phenomenon

Introduction: Weather is a very whimsical and capricious state of atmosphere, and various weather phenomenon are observed in different parts of the world. All these Weather phenomena are very interesting in nature. These different types of Weather phenomenon depend on the climactic variations of different places. At the same time these forms of weather are also temporary in nature. Some of the weather phenomenon are discussed below.

  • Rain : Rain is a very prominent weather phenomenon. Rain is in fact a form of cloud. To explain the scientific reason behind the rainfall on the earth, we have to dig a little deep. Water evaporates from various water surfaces on the earth due to the heat of the sun and then the cloud is formed. When the cloud gets heavier in weight it takes the form of a drop of water and fall down to the surface of earth. This is called rain. Rain plays a very important role in the agricultural. It also brings moisture in the atmosphere.

  • Snowfall : Snowfall is also very important weather phenomenon. The origin of snowflakes is hidden in the clouds. The water vapors go up in the air and gets cold and whenever it gets a dust particle, the water vapor freezes. This is how snowflakes are formed and falls in the surface of the earth.

  • Winds : The Motion of air is known as the wind. Cold winds are heavy in nature. So the cold winds intend to come down in the lower surface of the atmosphere. On the other hand the hot wind is lighter. So that warm wind intends to go up in the air.
