Air Transat


Air Transat is headquartered at Saint-Laurent in Montreal, Quebec. It provides both chartered and scheduled air services across 28 countries including Canada. It primarily operates in Europe during the summer season.

Its main centers of operation are Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, Vancouver International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport. Its focus cities are Calgary International Airport and Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport.

Transat A.T. Inc is the holding company and the head offices are at Quebec. It is regarded as the top holiday airline in Canada and every year it carries around 3 million people. It has almost 2000 employees. Allen Graham performs the dual role of CEO and chairman.

It also has code sharing agreements with CanJet, Thomas Cook Airlines and Enerjet.

Air Transat Seating Arrangements

Air Transat passengers can choose from aisle and window seats. Seats can be booked within 2 to 5 days before departure, depending on the location from where they are boarding the flight. Special facilities are assigned for differently abled travelers.

Air Transat Regulations

Air Transat recommends passengers carry their valid passports and check with the consulates of the country they are visiting for updating such documents. It is also preferable that they get to the check-in counters with sufficient time in hand and with the relevant documents.


Air Transat Booking

The Canadian carrier provides group booking services for a group of 15 to 200 people. In case passengers wish to take their sporting or musical equipment they would need to get in touch with their travel agents for making necessary preparations. Additional charges would be applicable in this case.

Air Transat Fleet

Air Transat has 18 aircraft at its beck and call. It has three types of planes – Airbus A310-300s that can ferry 249 people each, Airbus A330-200s that can transport 342 people each and Airbus A330-300s that have a similar capacity.
