A US airplane, bound for Cherlotte crash-landed into the Hudson river minutes after its take off from the
New York's LaGuardia airport. The expertise and experience of the pilot lead to the miraculous escape for all the 155 passengers on board. Apparent strike with a bird has been described as a reason for the engine trouble.

There was a bang and the plane filled with a smoke, according to a passenger on board. The pilot send a message to the air traffic control and informed about the emergency landing at the New Jersey airport, the nearest airport. Later the airport seemed to be out of reach as both the engines of the plane had developed problem and the pilot took the decision to land in the icy-chill waters of Hudson river. 'Brace yourself for impact' were the words of the pilot to the people on board and minutes after plane made a safe water landing into the Hudson river.

As per the eyewitness accounts, it was as safe a landing as it could be. It seemed to be such a controlled landing that some people mistook it for seaplane landing, reported the people present on the scene. The plane remained afloat for minutes and within the seconds water taxis surrounded the plane , rescuing the stricken passengers. Luckily all the passengers escaped unhurt. The pilot of the plane, Chesley Sullenberg is a man who made this miraculous escape possible. He is a former US air fighter pilot and has almost 29 years of experience with the airline sector.
