Military has stormed the presidential palace at Madagascar. At the time of attempted Coup, President Marc Ravalomanana was in another palace.
The opposition leader Mayor Andry Rajoelina is expected to occupy the official administrative center of the presidency. Rajoelina has ordered the arrest of President Ravalomanana.
The African Union Peace and Security has sharply condemned the opposition's move to oust embattled President Ravalomanana describing it as a coup d'état.
Meanwhile United States has ordered its embassy workers to leave Madagascar.
