Aero Mongolia is headquartered in Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Aero Mongolia was established in 2002 but the airline started its operation in 25 May 2003. Aero Mongolia is the brainchild of MIAT Mongolian Airlines and they developed it for catering the international services by MIAT, Air China, Korean Air and Aeroflot. The first aircraft of Aero Mongolia "Fokker 50" came into existence in December 2002 and then came the "Fokker100" in January 2006. Thus the Aero Mongolia is a well known regional and domestic airline and it has made its mark quite well in the international arena.
