Skyservice Airlines

Established in 1986 the Canadian carrier Skyservice was forced to call it a day 24 years later on 31st March 2010. The chartered airline operated out of Montreal Trudeau Airport and Toronto Pearson Airport.

Skyservice Airlines History

Skyservice Airlines was incorporated in 1986. It was owned by Gibralt Capital Corporation based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Its President cum CEO was Rob Giguere and Russell Payson was an erstwhile President and CEO. Ronald Patmore was a former President as well. The Canadian airline called it quits on 31st March owing to debt of almost $9 million.

Skyservice Airlines Details

Skyservice Airlines had a couple of operating bases – Montreal Trudeau Airport and Toronto Pearson Airport. In Asia Skyservice flights were available from Israel. Its European destinations were spread across Serbia, Portugal, Croatia, Spain, Italy and United Kingdom.

It also offered flights to Canada, USA, Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica, Antigua, Jamaica, Bahamas, Netherlands Antilles, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Cuba, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, United States Virgin Islands, Venezuela and Guyana.

Skyservice had 11 Airbus A320-200s at its disposal and 10 Boeing 757-200s. It had three major classes – economy class, class supreme and star class.
