Pacific Airlines


Pacific Airlines was established in 1991 but its name was changed to Jetstar Pacific Airlines in 2008 when it was included into the Jetstar LCC association run by Qantas. It operates within Vietnam.

Jetstar Pacific Airlines is officially referred to as Jetstar Pacific Airlines Joint Stock Aviation Company and operates as a budget airline. It was earlier known as Pacific Airlines but received its present name on May 23, 2008 after it was integrated into Qantas’ Jetstar LCC group.

The main hub of Pacific Airlines is Tan Son Nhat International Airport and its focus city operations are done from Noi Bai International Airport. The airport lounge of the Asian carrier is referred to as Qantas Club. Its slogan is “It’s all about choice” and its head offices are at Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

Jetstar Pacific does not provide refunds in case bookings are cancelled. However, some alterations can be made if the passenger is willing to fly to another destination. This service, though, is provided till 24 hours before the flight takes off.

Group bookings are available for at least 10 people. Payment can be done through credit cards such as Visa, Diners Club, MasterCard and UATP cards. Vouchers from the budget carrier can also be used in this case. People living in Singapore can use SingPost and 7Eleven outlets for payment.

Jetstar Pacific Airlines passengers need to be at the check in counters 2 hours prior to departure. The check-in counters stop operation 40 minutes from take off. They should also report at the boarding gate at least 15 minutes before take off.

Passengers are also required to have proper entry permits and travel documents like visas. This rule is applicable to every passenger irrespective of their age. Children can also be allowed to travel if they are registered in the passports of their accompanying parent.
