Based in Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport the Polish airline EuroLOT was opened with the purpose of providing exceptional traveling experience at low cost. It was established on December 19, 1996.
EuroLOT History
EuroLOT was incorporated on 19th December 1996. The Polish company started operations on a regular basis on 1st July 1997. In its initial phase it functioned within a selected group of connections. EuroLOT looked to give a new shape to regional and domestic network of flights and bring down operational expenses.
They were also looking to add value to the overall flight experience. The independent existence of the Polish carrier came to an end in 2000 when it started functioning as an operator.

EuroLOT operates out of Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport. It is a member of Star Alliance and its holding company is LOT Polish Airlines. Its CEO is Mariusz Dabrowski and Vice President is Matusewicz Bartholomew. The passengers of EuroLOT can avail the Miles and More frequent flyer program that is available only to Star Alliance members.
EuroLOT Destinations
EuroLOT offers flights to 15 destinations across Poland, Latvia, Germany, Lithuania and Ukraine. They may be enumerated as below:

EuroLOT Fleet
In its initial stages EuroLOT's fleet comprised 8 ATR 72-202s that had been procured on lease, along with the crew, from LOT and 5 ATR 42-300s that were owned by the Polish enterprise itself.
From 1998 to 2000 it had a couple of BAe Jetstream 31s that could accommodate 18 passengers. During 2000 all the ATR planes owned by LOT were taken over by EuroLOT. In 2002 there were attempts at upgrading the fleet with ATR 42-500s that replaced the ATR 42-300s.
At present it has 8 Aerospatiale/Alenia ATR72-202s that can accommodate 64 passengers each. There are 3 Aerospatiale/Alenia ATR42-500s that can make space for 46-48 people each and 3 Embraer 175s that have 82 seats.
