Set up in 1999 Deutsche and British Airways folded in 2008. It had a couple of owners - British Airways to start with and Air Berlin later on. They had two hubs at Berlin Tegel International Airport and Munich International Airport.
Deutsche and British Airways History
Deutsche and British Airways was incorporated in March1992 after British Airways bought 49% shares in Delta Air. It started functioning in June that year. Its earliest name was Deutsche BA. The company was wholly bought out in April 1997 after the aviation market in Europe was liberalized. In 2006 the company was bought by Air Berlin but it still worked on its own. The German enterprise was finally disbanded on 30th November 2008.
