LAN Airlines, formerly called as LanChile, was established on 5th March 1929 by Chilean Army Air Services Commander Arturo Merino Benitez. It is the second largest Latin American airlines that is also a member of the Oneworld airline alliance and a winner of numerous awards in the aviation industry. Based in Santiago, Chile, LAN Airlines is ever expanding in growth chart and one of the principal Chilean airlines that fly to Oceania region.
