Air Burkina runs flights to the main cities in the French speaking region of West Africa. The only long haul service provided by the airline is to Paris. Established in 1967, Air Burkina had the former name of Air Volta. Originally it was a division of Air France. Air Burkina was privatized on 21st February, 2001.
The central hub of Air Burkina is Ouagadougou airport in Ouagadougou. The airline connects a number of places in Africa. In Europe it runs flights only to Paris. The major destinations of Air Burkina are Paris in Europe and Benin, Cote d Ivoire, Ghana, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo in Africa.
Air Burkina has two aircrafts in its fleet. The fleet of Air Burkina consists of Fokker F28 Mk4000 which can carry 73 passengers and Airbus A319-100 which can carry 105 passengers.

The airline offers a number of services to the passengers that ensure their comfort and safety.
