Georgia, the 24th largest state in the US has Atlanta as its capital city. It is also the most populous city with a population close to half a million. Located in northern Georgia, the city is not only an important cultural hub in Georgia but also the primary transportation hub of the Southeastern US. In fact, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is one of the world's busiest airports.

Augusta, located on the eastern edge of Georgia, is another major city in Georgia with a population close to 200,000. Columbus is the third largest city in Georgia in terms of population.

Savannah, the oldest city in the Georgia, is shown in western edge of the state. Apart from the historic buildings, this important Atlantic seaport is also known for churches, squares, and forts. Surprisngly, some of the cities are named Cairo, Dublin, Vienna, Athens, and Rome.

The Fulton County has some of the most popular cities in Georgia, including Sandy Springs, Roswell, Johns Creek, and Alpharetta. Most of the tourist attractions in Georgia are spread over Atlanta, Savannah, Alpharetta, and Brunswick.
